Sanford Health Athletic Center - Scheels Arena

Constructed in 1970, The Bison Sports Arena served as the home for men’s and women’s basketball, wrestling, and indoor men’s and women’s track and field. Located within and under the BSA seating structure are the athletic department offices, lockers, weight room, indoor pool, physical therapy and training, conference rooms, and a student athlete lounge/study room.

The renovation and expansion will address the following needs:

• New locker room facilities
• New sports medicine facilities
• New strength and conditioning facilities
• New basketball practice facilities
• New athletic department offices
• Upgraded basketball arena
• Complete equipment facilities
• Team meeting facilities
